We are so excited about Spring’s official arrival!

Our farm workers are gettin’ down to business in our greenhouses, making sure your springtime flowers and juicy tomatoes arrive on time! We’ve got geraniums and pansies and annuals, oh my!  Cape Abilities participants planted more than 2,000 geraniums alone since the New year, just for you!  And don’t forget – the finest organic and local foods, fresh flowers and unique gifts are back on the shelves for the new season!

We operate Cape Abilities Farm to provide skills training and create jobs for the people we serve, increase awareness of our mission, and to act as a hub in our community to promote local sustainable farming. We provide fresh, healthy produce (including our very popular tomatoes and gorgeous flowers and planters!) to our community through our farm stand, restaurants, local food pantries, and schools.

“Plant Your Own:
Herb Container Garden”
This Saturday, April 21, 2018
11:00am – 3:00pm

Do you love using fresh herbs in your cooking or craft cocktails? Plant your own herb container garden at Cape Abilities Farm! Pick out a container (pot, box, or bowl), choose from dozens of varieties of herbs, and we’ll help you do the rest. Already have a pot you like? Bring it! If you buy a pot from us, we’ll provide the soil and fertilizer for free. If you bring your own pot, there will be a very reasonable potting soil charge. Stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM — no reservation needed.

Cape Abilities Farm exists not only to launch our participants into meaningful employment; we strive to have a positive impact on the local economy by producing the highest-quality food and products, while also supporting local businesses that are doing the same. We pride ourselves on being local. Right now is the best time for native produce, all coming in from local farms. We don’t stop there. In our farm store, you can find products from over 25 Cape Cod makers – cutting boards, hot sauce, pasta sauce, soaps, candles, and many more items – all made on Cape Cod.
