So ends of another terrific year at our Cape Abilities Farm to Table Market & Gallery in Chatham!  We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be an integral part of the local community, and we thank you for shopping with us all season.  Your purchases support the programs and services we provide for hundreds of individuals with disabilities here on the Cape, many of whom you met while shopping at our Farm to Table Market & Gallery!

THANK YOU ALL for a wonderful summer of 2015!  We’ll see you again next spring!

20151021_095832We are so happy to receive the 2015 “Best Eclectic Garden” beautification award from the Chatham Village Garden Club!

Each year, the Club tours all Chatham businesses to take special note of those who are making their coastal village shine.  Cape Abilities participants and staff are hard at work in the Farm To Table garden, creating horticultural displays that are both available for sale and public viewing.

THANK YOU, Chatham Garden Club, for recognizing the efforts of our participants!

Cape Abilities Farm to Table Market & Gallery was launched in 2011 when the owner of the historic building, which previously housed an art gallery, offered Cape Abilities use of the space rent-free. The Market and Gallery is currently staffed by Cape Abilities participants, who are gaining valuable  retail experience and customer service  skills.  We are very grateful to the community for their continuing support and warm welcome.

Cape Abilities Farm to Table Market & Gallery is a terrific destination for locals and travelers alike.  The shop features our award-winning tomatoes and fresh salad greens and produce from the Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis, fresh and frozen pies from the Centerville Pie Company, cold drinks and snacks, a beautiful selection of Gustare oils and vinegars, and a wonderful assortment of locally-made products – including fresh bread from Pain D’Avignon, fruit pies from Centerville Pie Company, and a variety of local jams, jellies and honey.  And when you’re there, don’t forget to pick up some fresh cut flowers and hanging plants for the porch or deck too!

Thank you for another fantastic year of pie eating! Our world famous pie-eating contests, featuring blueberry pies from the Centerville Pie Company, are always a big hit in Chatham!  We are grateful for our partnership with the Centerville Pie Company, who help support our mission by employing Cape Abilities participants in the Pie Kitchen at Cape Abilities in Hyannis. And we are very thankful to you, as your contest entry fee supports the services we provide for hundreds of disabled individuals across the Cape! We can’t wait until next summer to do it all over again!

Cape Abilities Farm to Table Market & Gallery also features T-shirts, stained glass, kites, welcome  mats, pottery, notecards, paintings by local artists and unique pieces by Cape Abilities Furniture Rescue & Restore, a project that gives new life to old furniture and provides jobs for Cape Abilities participants.
