Consign green bureauCape Abilities Consignment & Thrift Shop is housed in a spacious, light-filled building in the heart of Barnstable Village, right next to the fire station and across from the post office.  The shop specializes in antiques, fine furniture, home décor, household goods and collectibles. Jewelry is accepted by donation only.

New for 2013 is an art gallery, housed in the former bank vault within our shop. The Kennedy Gallery features works by Robert Kennedy and other local artists.

Look for pieces by Cape Abilities Furniture Rescue & Restoration, the newest vocational initiative at Cape Abilities. Furniture that needed some TLC gets a second chance, and our workers get to show how truly capable they are.

The shop is open year-round, and merchandise changes daily. Stop in to see what wonderful treasures are waiting to be discovered. You never know what you might find!

Donate…
Cape Abilities appreciates the donation of quality items in good condition that can be resold in our shop. We accept donations on a daily basis and are happy to work with donors to make arrangements to transport large items. Donated items are tax deductible, and proceeds support people with disabilities across the Cape.

Or Consign
High quality items may be consigned at our shop. We accept items for consignment daily and are available to make home visits when necessary. We work with consignors to establish the fair market value of consigned items, and proceeds are split 50/50 with Cape Abilities.

Consign interior tableAs you upsize, downsize or simply clean out closets, please think of us. Whether you become a donor, consignor or a customer, you will be helping people with disabilities on Cape Cod.
