What We Do

Cape Cod services for people with disabilities:
Transportation Services

Cape Cod has limited public transportation options for residents. Access to reliable transportation is a key component of living an active, integrated life for Cape Codders with disabilities.

Cape Abilities, working with the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, provides a variety of transportation services for people with disabilities.

Wheelchair-lift and passenger vans travel routes across Cape Cod daily to help people with disabilities reach their jobs, medical appointments, shopping and participate in community activities.

Drivers are experienced and receive training in CPR and first aid.

The vehicles are well-maintained under the direction of the Transportation Coordinator
.
