Cape Cod Saltworks at Cape Abilities Farm

Cape Cod Saltworks, the maker of Cape Cod Sea Salt is currently harvesting salt in a greenhouse at the Cape Abilities Farm on Route 6A in Dennis. Their process uses modern technology to recreate an ancient salt making tradition. Solar panels power the fans that evaporate the salt water, crystallize and dry the salt. The salt is then packaged and sold at Cape Abilities Farm and other local stores.
