Basic Pesto
Hot or cold. Winter, Spring, Fall or Summer. This is a favorite.
Ingredients
Leaves from 2 bunches fresh basil
2 tablespoons pine nuts
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and freshly black pepper
Directions
Combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil in a blender and blend. Add the cheese, salt and pepper.
