Cucumber Salad

The perfect summer dish from Cape Abilities Farm. Serve as an appetizer or a side dish.

Ingredients:

3 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
dash ground pepper
chopped fresh parsley or dash dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
chopped fresh basil or dash dried basil leaf

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except cucumbers; heat until sugar melts. Pour warm mixture over cucumbers. Store covered in refrigerator.
