How to Freeze Corn – It’s Easy

It’s easy to freeze corn – just follow these simple steps.

1. Remove husks from your corn on the cob

2. Prepare a large pot of boiling water

3. Prepare a large bowl of ice water

4. Put corn (4 or 5 ears at a time) into the boiling water

5. Boil for 1 minute

6. Remove corn on the cob from boiling water and plunge into the ice water (to stop the cooking)

7. Cut corn off the cob, place in freezer bags

8. Freeze immediately

When you are ready to use it, simply heat (on low heat) with a little milk, or add the corn to chowder, stews or other recipes.
