‘Summer Soiree’ in Chatham Saturday

A week after opening its doors on June 15, Cape Abilities Farm to Table in Chatham has enjoyed a warm welcome from neighbors, passers-by and folks who heard about the shop and came to check it out. Shoppers seem to love the fresh produce from Cape Abilities Farm, breads from Pain d’ Avignon and pies from Centerville Pie Company, and they also appreciate cold drinks, ice cream novelties and snacks.

Students from Chatham High School’s Special Needs Vocational Program are enjoying working at the shop, doing a variety of jobs from stocking shelves to working the register and greeting customers.

If you haven’t yet visited the shop, it’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Main Street in the Old Village, on the way to Chatham Lighthouse. The shop will also be taking part in the Chatham East End Merchants Association’s “Summer Soiree” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 25. Come say hello, enjoy refreshments and browse!
