Cape Abilities has lost a great friend and advisor, Jeffrey Lowery of Cotuit. Jeffrey was a long-time member of Cape Abilities Board of Directors, and served as Chairman of our Human Rights Committee.

As a teenager, Jeffrey was seriously injured in a diving accident. But his physical limitations did not limit his talents and his boundless spirit. He was a highly respected psychologist, and a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities.

He was a great listener and with that gift touched thousands of lives across Cape Cod, helping people achieve their goals and dreams. His easy demeanor disguised a man possessed of keen insight into the human condition with a strong commitment to improving the world.

Cape Abilities is honored by his service and we extend our deepest condolences to his wife Nancy and his family.
