Captains Course and Cape Abilities

More than 100 women golfers gathered at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster on July 19 for the 18-Holers Women’s Association’s annual member-guest tournament, which this year was a benefit for Cape Abilities.

With a raffle and a very lively auction called by Pat O’Keefe, the event raised $2,500 to donate to Cape Abilities.

In addition, each participant brought an item to donate to Cape Abilities Consignment & Thrift Shop, representing hundreds of dollars for Cape Abilities. All proceeds from the shop, located in Barnstable Village, benefit Cape Abilities programs.

We were thrilled to be selected for this honor. Thank you to all the ladies who attended, and special thanks to the tournament committee of Pat O’Keefe, Jane Samiotes, Ann Carroll and Laura Previdi. What a great group you have!
