The Planned Giving Council of Cape Cod held a panel presentation titled “A Personal Journey of Giving: Three Unique Perspectives”  at their latest luncheon meeting. The panelists included Norma Schmidt from Citizens Bank, Shawn DeLude, owner of Nauset Disposal, and Dorothy Halmstad, a retiree who devotes her time to volunteering at several Cape Cod nonprofit organizations.

Norma, a loan services administrator at Citizens Bank in Hyannis, volunteered at Cape Abilities this spring for three months as part of a Community Service Sabbatical from the bank. She worked on various projects including the Annual 5K walk/run. All of us at Cape Abilities thank Norma for being one of our volunteers.
