Cape Abilities connects

Cape Abilities at Business ConnectKudos to Cape & Plymouth Business for putting together such a vibrant Business Connect event. Held November 16 at the Resort & Conference Center in Hyannis, the conference featured a full slate of helpful workshops and scores of exhibitors. For the first time ever, Business Connect included nonprofit organizations, and more than a few people remarked on the dimension that added to the conference.

To us, it was a natural next step. Cape & Plymouth Business, like other savvy firms, recognizes the importance of nonprofits to the business community. Businesses need nonprofits for the visibility they can provide, the goodwill they help them express, and the involvement and volunteer opportunities they can offer employees. Nonprofits, in turn, need businesses for support, resources, volunteers and partnerships. In the end, we are all part of the same community, part of the weave in the rich fabric of life on Cape Cod.

We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones at Business Connect, and we wish them all a happy and prosperous season.
