The Chatham School Committee honored Cape Abilities Farm to Table with a Certificate of Appreciation for providing employment to students in Chatham High School’s Special Needs Vocational Program.

Speaking at the November 2 meeting of the Chatham School Committee, Judy Fratus, director of the Special Needs Vocational Program at Chatham High School, said the ten students employed at the shop over the summer and through October learned new skills, built confidence and loved their jobs. She praised the shop for offering a diversity of jobs for students of different skill levels, and said a number of the students were able to “graduate” from having a job coach to working independently at the shop.

We look forward to continuing our successful partnership!
