Clambake & Dance

Chequessett Yacht and Country Club in Wellfleet hosted a clambake and dance to benefit Cape Abilities on Friday, July 8. It was a truly magical evening that began with cocktails at the boathouse, just steps away from Cape Cod Bay, followed by a traditional Cape Cod clambake from Outer Cape Clambake in the clubhouse ding room. Then it was back to the boathouse for dancing to live music by Wellfleet’s famous The Rip-It-Ups, who kept everybody on their feet with a great mix of rock ‘n roll, Blues, Rockabilly, Country, Jazz and Soul.

A big thank you to everone at Chequessett Yacht and Country Club, especially Reven Oliver, Director of Operations and Special Events, and to Outer Cape Clambake and The Rip-It-Ups for their generous support for Cape Abilities.

Thank you to our sponsors, La Tanzi, Spaulding & Landreth, P.C. and Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service.
