Current Job Openings at Cape Abilities

Supervisor, Janitorial Services
Part-time, year-round position supervising and training adults with disabilities in light maintenance tasks as required by contract for maintenance of Hyannis Veterans Centers. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, updating data sheets, time studies and timecards. Experience in janitorial/maintenance fields helpful. Must have valid MA driver’s license and good driving record; CORI mandated position.

Residential Instructors
Full-time, part-time and relief positions available in Mid & Lower Cape for weekday evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. Must be able and willing to provide custodial care, assist individuals in attending medical appointments, follow ISP goals, behavioral plan, community-based activities scheduling, and other duties as outlined in job descriptions. All new employees must obtain First Aid, CPR, MAP certification and Human Rights training.

Van Driver
Relief van drivers for Hyannis and Eastham-based routes. MA driver’s license, safe driving record, CORI, pre-employment and random drug testing and sensitivity towards people with disabilities required. Split shifts – AM hours: 6:30 – 8:30; PM hours 2:30 – 5:00 available.
