Payroll and Benefits Specialist – Hyannis

Full Time 

The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will manage the payroll and benefit administration processes for all staff and program participants. Will compile and record employee time and payroll data on a weekly basis, as well as compute and post wages and deductions, or prepare paychecks.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 4 years prior experience in payroll and benefits administration including payroll data reporting and analytics.ADP Workforce Now experience preferred, experience with ADP software required.Strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and DOL/FLSA requirements.Expert knowledge of word processing, Excel, and HRIS software.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Day Services (Float) – Hyannis

Full Time 

Assists program participants in the areas of work, independent living, self management within the community, and social and independent living skills development.

Assists with transportation to employment, as needed, adhering to all transportation rules and regulations in accordance with the Mass Transit Authority and Agency policy. Provides direct care and training in relevant health topics for staff and clients, as needed.  Coordinates medical services with each participant’s primary physician or medical clinic.  Oversees all health care services provided to program participants.  Participates in the ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation and review of each participant’s needs and status.  Obtains reports and approval of treatment plans from primary physicians.  Documents recommendation in participants’ records resulting from periodic reviews.  Advises program management and staff of any medical problems that may hinder a participant’s progress or that may be negatively impacted by program activities.  Completes, signs and/or reviews monthly progress notes in accordance with regulations established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts-Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS).

Registered Nurse licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.  Minimum 1 year prior experience in a community health setting.  Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form with coworkers and supported individuals and read fluently.Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.  Successful completion of all state and Agency mandated trainings required upon hire.  Successful completion of Medication Administration Training certification required upon hire.  Must be compassionate and patient.
