On November 15, we were honored with a visit by a film crew from an MSN show called Business on Main, which is planning a segment on Cape Abilities.
Cape Cod Saltworks, the maker of Cape Cod Sea Salt is currently harvesting salt in a greenhouse at the Cape Abilities Farm on Route 6A in Dennis. Their process uses modern technology to recreate an ancient salt making tradition. Solar panels power the fans that evaporate the salt water, crystallize and dry the salt. The salt is then packaged and sold at Cape Abilities Farm and other local stores.

Local Break, new restaurant in Eastham has begun hosting monthly luncheons for participants and staff of our Cochran Center in Eastham.
