Controller

Full Time

Maximize the Agency’s financial planning and reporting by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls.

Required: Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance. 8-10 years’ experience in senior level finance or accounting position, preferably in non-profit, human services and/or health care environment. Firm understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Information Systems Analyst

The Information Systems Analyst’s primary objective is to help implement and maintain data systems by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.  Reviews, analyzes, evaluates assigned business systems, develops value-added technical solutions to address business and information needs, and provides end- user application support. Developmental Specialist/Case Manager

Full Time, Eastham

Provides support and assistance to program participants in the areas of independent living, self-management within the community, social and independent living skills development, as well as affective and behavioral management.  Communicates with families and providers, as required. Writes and manages program service plans and quarterly reviews in accordance with individual’s goals and regulation requirements.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years prior experience with people with disabilities. 1 year of direct care, CNA, or human services experience preferred. Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.

Experience reading, interpreting and implementing interventions detailed in a behavior plan. Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.

The Direct Support Professional provides instruction, support, and serves as a positive role model to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury or other unique challenges. DSPs are typically assigned to residential homes involving more complex and difficult cases including, but not limited to, medically frail or elderly residents, individuals with acquired brain injury, individuals with developmental or intellectual disability, or individuals with other related clinical or behavioral diagnoses.

Flexible schedule and reimbursed mileage for transportation.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or additional education in the field (s) of psychology, social work, nursing, or special education preferred.  1 year of direct care, CNA, or human services experience preferred. Caregiver

We are seeking caring and dedicated people to join our Shared Living team by becoming caregivers. Caregivers open their homes and lives to a person with disabilities while supporting their independence and self-determination. Our seasoned professional team will work diligently to pair you with a suitable individual and to create a meaningful and purpose filled life for all.

Caregivers are considered subcontractors who are given a monthly, tax exempt stipend. You will also receive supports from nursing, case management, and clinical professionals, as well as thorough and ongoing trainings.

Caregiver qualifications: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle. Extra bedroom in their rented or owned house. Must be found suitable through a CORI and fingerprint check.

Community-Based Day Supports (CBDS)

CBDS Lead

Provides Lead support and assistance to Director of Day Programs and case managers. Ensure appropriate support and assistance is provided to program participants in the areas of independent living, self-management within the community, and social, independent living skills, vocational training and development, affective and behavioral management.  Communicates with families and providers, as required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years prior experience in a community health setting.

Community Resource Specialist

Full Time

The Community Resource Specialist provides instruction, support, and serves as a positive role model to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury or other unique challenges. Provides support and assistant to program participants in the areas of pre-vocational/job preparation, socialization, community orientation/education, and wellness.

The Vocational Specialist works with program participants from referrals made through State Agency contracts and is responsible for completing vocational assessments and assisting individuals to secure competitive community employment by providing and arranging the necessary job supports to ensure success. Social Enterprise

Lead Grower, Farm

Full Time

The Lead Grower is responsible for the day to day crop management at Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis. Working closely with the Cape Abilities Farm Director, the Lead Grower will oversee, and work alongside production crews to produce top-quality ornamental and edible crops. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in agriculture related field required, and/or 3 years prior greenhouse/agriculture experience. Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.

Thrift Donations Lead

The Thrift Donations Lead (TDL) picks up donations at donors’ locations, and delivers purchases to customers. The TDL also helps process drop-off donations, helps load customer vehicles, and provides top-class customer service. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year prior experience driving a delivery vehicle, preferably a box truck. Willingness to work outside in inclement weather. Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts required.
